With the participation of surveyors from Turkey a General Training Course was conducted at Istanbul by our Technical Manager, Eng. Frank H. Marmol.

 

This course was designed to give Surveyors/Auditors an introduction and comprehension about the applicability, definitions, surveys, certificates and forms to be used during the certification of most important International Maritime Conventions and Codes as:

 

·         International Convention on Tonnage Measurement of Ships, 1969 (ITC-69)

·         International Conventions on Load Lines, 1966 & 1988 Protocol (ILL-66/88)

·         International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974 6 1988 Protocol (SOLAS-74/88)

·         International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL 73/78), Annex I, Regulations for the Prevention of Pollution by oil.

·         ILO Conventions No. 68, 92 and 126 (CICA)

·         ISM Code Certification

·         ISPS Code Certification
