Dear All Surveyors & Clients:
Subject: ICS CHINA
As per Document of Maritime Safety Administration of the People’s Republic of China HCJ (2007) No. 631, it is mandatory the compliance with Procedures established by MSA China and implemented since March 2008 for all surveys to be conducted at China territory.
This document established that all surveys must be conducted by Authorized Vessel Inspection Company.
Intermaritime Certification Services, S.A. established ICS CHINA, an ISO 9001: 2008 Certified Company, who is the one authorized in all China for the conduction of surveys on our behalf.
In order to comply with requirements and keep control of surveys to be carried out in China, it is necessary to coordinate all these through ICS China. For any survey in China please contact:

Surveys and certificates issued without ICS China coordination will be invalidated and notified to MSA as is required by them. Also, the surveyor involved in surveys and issuance of interim certificates or endorsement of the same, will be eliminated from the List of Approved Surveyors by MSA China
